Jamshedpur Yodhayin Round Table-338 (JYRT-338) inaugurated a newly constructed library block at ABR Public School in Pardih, Mango on Wednesday under its ‘Freedom Through Education’ initiative aimed at improving learning facilities for students.
The new library block has been developed with modern facilities including study tables, chairs, book racks, a wide collection of books, educational paintings and improved lighting arrangements.
The aim is to create a better academic environment that encourages students to read regularly and develop strong learning habits. School representatives said the facility will support both academic study and creative learning activities.
Addressing the gathering, JYRT-338 Chairman Rishabh Agarwal said the library has been designed to provide students with a positive and engaging space for study.
He added that the initiative reflects Round Table India’s commitment to strengthening education infrastructure through community support programmes.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Area-16 Chairman Abhijit Mohanty as chief guest along with school management representatives Pramod and Principal Sarika.
Several members of JYRT-338, including Gaurav Luthra, Vishal Moonka, Ravi Khandelwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Tanay Jhawar, Chahat Panchamia, Vikas Singh, Harshit Jhunjhunwala, Venkat Sushant and Aahan Patel, were also present.
Speakers at the event stressed the importance of investing in education to build a stronger society and urged students to use the new facility effectively.
Apart from improving infrastructure, the initiative aims to promote reading culture among young learners and support holistic development. Organisers said such efforts will continue in other schools to ensure more students benefit from better educational resources.
