India’s new-generation IITs are expanding quality education beyond big cities to encourage more students to use artificial intelligence (AI). These institutes are located across the country and provide students from smaller towns an opportunity to learn AI at a place that is more convenient to them. This is staving off the need to migrate to big cities and developing a larger talent base throughout India.
The institutes have launched AI courses that engage in the basics like math, computer science, and data science, before shifting to the advanced parts like machine learning and deep learning. Students also learn the responsible use of AI and the impact of AI on society.
