Event Overview
TEDxMVJCE organised an event titled Tessellate on 27th September 2025 at Dr M. V. Jayaraman Auditorium, MVJ College of Engineering.
The event began with a warm welcome address by the previous organisers, Ashwin Bijoy and Shrinidhi M, followed by a sequence of curated talks and performances under the theme “Tessellate”. The event featured 9 distinguished speakers from diverse backgrounds, interspersed with two unique performances that brought vibrancy and reflection to the stage. The auditorium witnessed active participation, with students, faculty, alumni, and guests engaging deeply with the ideas presented.
The primary objectives of the event were:
- To provide a platform for diverse voices and perspectives, highlighting the power of ideas in shaping society
- To inspire students and participants to think critically, creatively, and courageously
- To foster meaningful connections between academia, industry, art, and community
- To uphold the TED spirit of “Ideas Worth Spreading” within MVJCE and beyond

2. Amaal Kai: Actor, model, and neuroscience-based creator on confidence, clarity, and self-expression.
3. Tarini Sai Padmanabhuni: Founder of Axory AI, addressing digital authenticity and combating deepfakes.
4. Ashish Ramesh: Innovator and GSoC developer in open-source robotics.
5. Aryan Prasad & Deepak Dang: Co-founders of Daud Run Club, building fitness through community.
6. Kalyan S Rathore: Guinness World Record–holding sculptor exploring geometry and public art.
7.Vinutha Ramamohan: Internal Audit Manager at Intuit & food storyteller behind BangaloreGrubHub.
8. Indu Santosh: Bharatanatyam artist, educator, and yoga practitioner.
9. Sharan Kuttappa: Magician and mentalist blending illusion with wit and storytelling.
