Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), India’s premier institute for Strategic Marketing and Communications, has announced the launch of The Social Media Influencer Programme, a 25-week online course designed to help aspiring and established content creators build sustainable, strategy-driven digital careers.

According to MICA, the initiative responds to the rapid growth of India’s creator economy, which is now a key part of the $250 billion global industry. The programme aims to bridge the skill and strategy gap among digital creators by offering a structured curriculum that blends academic knowledge, business understanding, and hands-on application.

The course will cover essential aspects of personal branding, content strategy, platform growth, and the use of emerging technologies like generative AI for scalable content creation. Participants will also learn how to build brand partnerships, earn money from their content, and connect with audiences across different platforms.

The programme will be led by MICA faculty members Dr. Falguni Vasavada and Prof. Siddharth Deshmukh, experts in marketing and digital strategy, are active members of the online creator community. Their guidance will help participants turn classroom lessons into practical solutions for real-world creator challenges.

Adding industry expertise, Viraj Sheth, Co-founder and CEO of Monk Entertainment, will serve as the programme’s industry mentor. Sheth will lead two masterclasses, Media Training for Digital Thought Leaders and Multi-Platform Content Growth Strategy, focusing on building genuine brands, growing audiences, and managing long-term influence.

Along with the classes and live sessions, five participants will get a paid internship with Monk Entertainment in Mumbai. The internship will offer hands-on exposure to creator management, brand collaborations, and digital campaign operations.

MICA noted that the programme reflects its ongoing mission to merge marketing, communication, and technology in emerging fields. Emphasising that true influence today is defined by credibility and consistency rather than follower count, the institute said the course will help creators build meaningful and sustainable digital careers.

The fully online programme begins on December 28, 2025, with a course fee of ₹1,00,500 plus GST. Participants will gain access to mentorship, live sessions, and structured strategies for long-term growth in the creator economy.
