Background

EThames Business School in Hyderabad has partnered with Simandhar Education to include US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA) courses in its undergraduate programs. This partnership lets students earn global accounting and tax certifications while finishing their degrees.

Under the agreement, CPA and EA coursework will be aligned with EThames’ BCom, BBA and allied programs. This helps students learn about international accounting and tax systems during their undergraduate studies, instead of waiting to study them after graduation.

The integrated program gives students academic support, structured mentoring, and exam-focused preparation aligned with CPA and EA requirements. It also guides them on career options and professional certification paths. The initiative is aimed at students who want to build careers in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and related services.

Kali Prasad Gadiraju, Chairman of EThames Business School, said the tie-up reflects the institution’s focus on offering industry-relevant education. He added that combining undergraduate studies with global certification pathways will help students prepare for international careers and meet the expectations of global employers.

Sripal Jain, CA and US CPA, Co-Founder of Simandhar Education, said the partnership highlights a shift in how finance careers are being built, especially in the AI-driven environment. He said early access to global certifications can give students a strong advantage in the job market.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional qualifications, giving students better career opportunities in India and overseas.
